Default WO2 Bullion/Cloth badges for ID please

Hello All

I have a few WO2 badges that I have been unable to get a positive ID for. I have gone through JSP 768 & Grey Green Acorn's albums but have a couple of options for some badges.

Badge 1 - Crown & Wreath - White or Buff background - I am guessing dirty white for 13/18 Hussars and 17/21 Lancers

Badge 2 - Conductor's Badge - Which unit?

Badge 3 - Small Royal Arms - Is this a Cheshire regiment buff background?

Badge 4 - Large Crown - Is this a Cheshire Regiment buff background?

Badge 5 - Crown & Wreath - Dirty White (13/18, 17/21) or Buff (Cheshire)?

Badge 6 - Red Crown & Wreath - Foot Guards variation (the cushion is not red as in my other Foot Guards badges)?

Badges 7 & 8 - Parachute Regiment or Royal Army Medical Corps or Royal Army Veterinary Corps?

Many thanks in advance

Paddy

Hi
No doubt I stand to be corrected by others but here goes....
1 is also RASC and RCT
2 was worn by Staff Sergeant Majors 1st Class RASC (in my opinion)
6 I don't think because this doesn't have a red cushion that it precludes it from being Guards.
Cheers
Sean

Sean

Many thanks for your comments, I can see the logic and hopefully a few more comments may confirm what you have said.
