Unidentified African Troops - World War 2
On the basis of the machine gun - French Hotchkiss mle 14 - and the crown on the cap badge together with the presence of Life photographers - I would hazard a guess at Morocco. Not a Kingdom, more a Sultanate under French colonial influence. So that may be a Sultan Muhammad V crown on the badge?

The soldiers are from the Force Publique, army of the Belgian Congo.

Flatdog is definately right. Judging by their uniforms this was taken during the war but pre 1943 (maybe during the expedition to Ethiopia).
