Default Not Police ?

Saw this being offered as a police item which I am pretty sure it isn’t but a cape ,dark blue with green facings and anodisedbuttons down front with EIIR cyphers .

The item came from North Wales and I wonder if it might be connected to the Prince of Wales Investiture ?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks

P.

Default Cape

I’m not sure if my memory is playing tricks, but the “palace” staff standing outside Windsor following Duke of Edinburgh’s demise did they not have green on their uniform?

Thanks Bob,

My line of thinking, the buttons represent some official capacity ( anodised QEII crown and cypher) so perhaps custodians at a Royal Residence? The cape is a well made quality item.
