C & A is well established European clothing retailer with many branches in the UK.

I would imagine it was a doorman/lift man cap badge, chromed so probably 1940' to 1960's period.

Don't think so Simon. There is a large "I" in the middle of the monogram.

This badge was the subject of an identification query in the February 2010 edition of the Military Historical Society Bulletin. I am searching subsequent editions to see if it was subsequently identified.

I have been unable to find any identification of the 'IC&A' badge in subsequent MHS Bulletins. The original enquiry in 2010 was made by Vernon Horsfield.
