modern cloth cap badges?
Can any member confirm if -
The Mercians are wearing, or wore a silver & gilt on blue? embroidered badge. Mercian Yeo. are wearing a circular full colour cap badge? & Rifles & RM Cadets are wearing cloth cap badges, or might regulars wear the Rifles badge in silver & red on green. Above look more like cap badges than TRF's...help?! |

If you mean this one for The Mercian Regiment then it is the 4th Bns TRF.

As I stated I have not seen a cloth badge with a blue back ground being worn by the Mercian Regiment, nor the one with the green back ground either, not in person or in photo's. As in the photo, the side cap has no green backing badge and has a officers metal badge. The blue 4th battalion badge is no longer worn, all the battalions wear the regimental TRF of cerise, buff and green.
