Very pleased to have acquired this beret yesterday.... Kangol 1943... with an emroidered officers badge to the SAR.... it's going under the tree...

I passed on an enamelled coloured capbadge to the SAR a few years ago, any chance I missed a good one? I have never seen another enamelled badge to this regiment.
Very nice find, I dont suppose there is a name inside "Currie, D."? |

Bah! An obvious fantasy piece: the mountains look like oak trees and the field of wheat looks like a field of worms. I think you'd be embarrassed to keep that in your collection. You should give it to me to pretend to give to Bill Miller, I, er... he embarrasses less easily
