Default BMWS cloth title

Hi folks

I was told this was British Military Welfare Service but have never seen any reference to it does any one have any thoughts?

Sean, I thought it was "British Mixed Watchman Service" but I saw the attached collection at the weekend and it was labelled as "Berlin Mixed Watchman Service" top right hand side.
This collection made me very envious.... If you want to pass it on........

Jerry that's fabulous, my mind was heading in that direction more in hope than anything else, the colours were right. What a fab grouping .......never seen the Czech badge before and will probably never see it again!

So haveing received another excellent issue of the Formation Sign it turns out that BMWS was British Military Welfare Service after all and not Berlin Mixed Watchman Service...oh never mind!

Sean,

Thanks for the plug for the FS but I was misinformed as the next FS will reveal.

It was actually worn by the Berlin Military Welfare Service which supported the British Troops stationed there, its colours reflecting the red and black sign they wore.

We all live and learn.
