Opinion sought CEF 1st Tank Battalion badge

Hello members, I was looking for opinions on this CEF 1st Tank Battalion badge. Not being up to speed on catching fakes and new in this area of collecting I was hoping the members here would be able to offer opinion on this badge's authenticity which is for sale.

Comparing it to the one in the reference section it is slightly less lacking in detail but is a different material. Patina and strike look good to me but I would like to be sure.

The seller tells me he is a member of this forum but doesn't visit anymore.

Hi - - Answered your PM before I seen this!!

As you will discover not only are there different "dies" for a badge, but also different finishes also!
This sure looks like a good badge to me, it is a different "finish" than the one in the CEF project but it is a good badge

Well I was able to land the badge, I will post it when it comes in. I am quite excited about this, as I did not think I would be able to find one so fast. Thanks gents for your assistance.
