Default Griffin stuff

Some years ago I had some bi-metal collar badges which I think Keith Hook had from me, they were similar to the ones shown in a previous post.

If you look at my thread https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ad.php?t=90413
They went from under fed to over fed back to under fed!

Thus is an interesting one, on tangs?!
Is it silver and gilt? Early Officers maybe?
The die is different to any other badge to

Thank you Rob
I've seen the bi metal collar badges around, normally when there are bi metal collars theres a bi metal badge being worn together, just need the illusive photo.
Cheers

They may well be your old collars Rob as the collection shown in post #13 is (or was) Keith Hook’s AY board.

It is indeed Keith Hook's AY board.
The bi metal badge is the same as mine, I've had a few correspondence with Keith regarding this badge, it's only speculation that this is a S/NCO's badge, I'm really hoping to get more back from my AY contacts and get some confirmation, as Keith is also interested to know more about it.
Thanks all

Chris

Thank you to Geoff Newman.
I say possibly S/NCO's, but not confirmed yet with photographic evidence, definitely purchased or issued and worn at some point.
I'll continue this thread regarding this badge later, I've a few notes and findings.

Cheers

Chris

Well done! That's a cracking-looking badge, Chris.

Best,

Marcus

I've bought a few badges of Robbie in the past, all good ones.
This sadly is a Marsh fake, it has the two main indicators of the fake badge unfortunately.
