Default Where does this fit in please.
Hello
Picked this side cap up today and wondered if anyone could enlighten me as to where it fits in date wise.
The volunteer side caps I have seen in the past show a red material in the center of the top part (if that makes sense).

According to Barry O'Sullivan's book NZ Dress Regulations 1852-1919, these types of hats were in use from 1895 to 1912.
