Hi just acquired this badge and found it to be similar to our Reserve Forces (T.A.) ? As per Wikipedia?

Any information on this would be appreciated, also verification on its Originality, time period it may be from if you can tell by looking at it? the sweat holes are a good sign feels good in the hand and eye!

For peace of mind what would I expect to pay for one of these? (Bought a group of badges and was only going by a photo! ) the sweathearts are good price was reasonable but then auction costs and posting sent it through the roof!!!! Many thanks Billy

Billy,

The sweat holes are a good sign, not my area of collecting though.

A word on bidding on badges at a General Auction on line - Hardly ever worth while!

They dont show close ups, they dont show the rear, they believe every badge is the real deal. You HAVE to go and see them and touch them, its the only way.

regards
