Cavalry helmet markings WW1

Hi all,

Has any members any information please on the colours and shapes of the steel helmet markings worn by the 3 Dragoon Guards, 5 Dragoon Guards and 5 Lancers serving in the cavalry divisions on the Western Front?

... the 3DG were in the 3rd Cavalry Division in WW1 and "if" they wore helmet Divisional insignia it would have been this :-

Thank you very much for that info.

The other two regiments in the 6 Cavalry Bde - 1 Royal Dragoons and 10 Hussars wore a red 1. R. D and a red silhouette of the POW feathers respectively on the steel helmet. Just cannot find any information on 3 DG.
