Default Suspicion of Staffs Yeomanry officers badges

Suspicion of Staffs Yeomanry officers badges

I noted the post by Mercian re Cheshire badges that started me thinking.

I have also noted across eBay and dealers sites the odd influx of Officer king crown patten W/m cap badges and have been thinking That this is suspicious the quality is not quite there,

They are similar in construction to the copy S/Nco’s staffs Yeomanry arm badges that have been around for years.

I have silver’d and bronze examples which proved difficult to find now these W/m versions are all over the net?

Share your concerns - especially with the prices officers' bronze are now fetching. That one looked borderline OK until I saw the misstriking around the crown. And perhaps the quality is lacking.

Hi Yeoman note

There are two on EBa— at the moment big difference in price note the backing on this one and the non regimental flash also?

I do not like the bronze one on eBa— Either Over £100 asking price Friends beware.

My Bronze and silver plate examples note the finer finish and length of loops on the QEII version.
