Default 20th London - Silver

Have forgeries moved up a level or am I just being paranoid?

The hallmark does not appear to me to be dated or properly marked - he has lots of these types on silver badges. It might be silver but how old it is is a question I would want to resolve before buying it.

I second this! His OSD bronze badges are perfect examples of what to avoid.

Well that's my opinion too - the quality is poor, the loops are wrong. What worried me and prompted me to post it in the first place is that it has a similar Gaunt stamp seen on genuine badges AND the 'S' which is Gaunt's stamp for silver. I'm sure a lot of this is happening through information coming through Forum's such as this one.

If you look carefully you can see where the blades have been removed,i also think that it has been cast from a fine casting mould, i wonder if this is one of those badges that could get him in a bit of hot water with the assay office . Have a look at his superb welsh cyclist badges
