Default If Mr Kipling made exceedingly good cakes, Mr Jennens took the Biscuit with badges!

I had to share this work of art!! An absolutely SUPERB Coldstream Guards Officers Silver, Gilt and enamel Cap Star. 5.5 x 4 cm Large Forage Cap pattern.

Bears the Makers Mark J&Co and although not hallmarked I'm pretty sure it is Solid Silver? I believe Jennens were absorbed into Gaunts in around 1925.

The type of badge you cannot stop looking at!

QUALITY!

Griff,

There's an OAP in Tamworth moaning and groaning too, that's for sure.

Dave.

PS, Makes mine look ordinary !!

Cracking badge there Andy. Very similer to the WO's version, but longer from top to bottom.

I dont know if this is cosidered bad form on here, but what would you expect to pay for a badge like that?

John,
with postage it cost £70 (last week) which is, IMHO less than half its value!

Yelp! I can see why so many collections seem to disregard officers badges. Still, lovely bit of kit mate. Well done.
