Royal Guernsey Militia Badge
Here is what I feel is a nice genuine RGM badge. It has a nice crimped
slider, is 'rounded' in both dimensions and has a very nice patina. This is not my normal area and I was wondering what the period of use was. As I can't find it in KK Vol1 - and I seem to have left Vol2 back in Germany I assume that it is post Great War - and was used up from ... to ...? Any help appreciated. david |

RGM Badge
Your badge was worn from C.1925 until the Regiment was 'suspended' in 1940.
It is an O/R's badge as the Officers version was in OSD Bronze with a strung bugle in the centre instead of the shield. regards Jermil |

RGM officers badge
I have been trying to get one of the Officers badges for over 20 years, I have only seen four and two of those are in Castle Cornet Militia Museum

RGM Button
I was bidding on that but gave up at £55. It seems that there are more fanatical Jersey & Guernsey Militia collectors out there than I thought there were !
