Default Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers - Officers Cap Badge - "LUDLOW" Makers Mark

Just acquired a Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers Officers Cap Badge (KK 633)... I was just about to dismiss it as a Birmingham Mint Production, however I am sure it is Marked "LUDLOW LONDON" to the rear of the ball. I already have a lugged version and thought this one strange, being slidered (now adds to my collection of slidered Officer's Badges!!).

The mark is feint and distorted/mis stamped.. probably because it has been struck onto a concave surface! The mark is easliy missed, probably the seller did not see it either! Can any of you with one of these badges please see if yours is similarly marked?

Andy

Andy, I have one S&G and a couple of bronze OSDs King's 1926 Pattern cap badges. Ludlow London misstruck in all cases - I'll try and get some photographs done. One of the OSDs is clearly cast from a BM badge.
