Set of Roman pan scale weights of lead cubes. 1st/2nd C.
They all have marks or inscriptions on them too weathered to decipher although you can make out a female bust facing left on one. The first four are the correct weights the three others are between 8 and 20gms light. From left to right.
1/2 Uncia; Uncia; Sextans; Quadrans; Triens; Triens; Septunx.

Stollwerk Chokolade real photographic card issued 1900.
Prince Oskar Karl Gustav of Prussia as a 12 year old cadet.
14 years later he won the Iron Cross serving in the field as Colonel of Grenadierregiment "Konig Willhelm 1".

Two gilt embossed die-proofs. The first wrongly described as 1836 Coronation bust, it is the 1847 Gothic Crown bust with lace bodice.
The second is the 1897 Jubilee bust. Some rubbing to gilt stained copper showing through.

Bust of scholar facing right, from Antioch-ad-Orontes capitol of the Seleucids. Makers fingerprints on the left side.

Achaememid Kingdom DariusI-XerxesII 480-420 BC.
Silver siglos 16mm 5.32gms. Persian king kneeling holding dagger and bow, bankers test punch. Irregular incuse oblong with multiple punch marks.

1900 card from a French chocolate coy, General Methuen talking to a Black Watch officer. Quite a lot of artistic licence with the uniforms!

Another of my fathers, whilst he was serving with the 1st Buffs he is on the left. Standing with the Pidgeoneer at Mena Camp Egypt Jan 1942, no mobile phones in the desert. the quality is bad because the photo is only one inch high.

Silver Tetrobol 1.46 gms 12.45mm.
Head of nymph Histiaia hair in sphendone with wreath formed with grapes. Wearing pearl necklace and earring.
Histiaia seated right on prow of galley. IST[AEON] behind.

HMS Cleopatra C Class Light Crusier. Rammed and cut in half the German destroyer G149 March 24 1916. Out of control herself she then collided with HMS Undaunted, both ships limped back to port.
