Royal Army Medical Corps KC Bimetal
Picked up the badge on the left at the weekend with what appears to be a nice 11mm JRGAUNT LONDON marked slider. This seems to be what I would call a standard RAMC shape. I already had the badge on the right which seems to be a 'puffed up' shape like it's puffing out it's chest. They also differ with the voiding above the scroll ends. I can only find 3 examples of this badge in the gallery on here, and they all seem to be of the puffed up, no voids variety. Also, all the ones I can find on ebay (claiming to be genuine) are also of the puffed up variety. So...I guess my question is, are they both legit variants or are there questions of authenticity here? Or, more importantly, the plaintive cry 'are both of mine ok?'. Best regards, Mike
