Default RAOC bullion badge

Would like to positively i.d. this very attractive RAOC bullion badge. Offhand, I captioned it as an officer's beret badge but on my own initiative. Placed alongside a normal a/a cap badge for size comparison.

Hi GTB
That's just what I would have said, would have also have been worn on the officers side hat.
There would have been one with a green backing for commando trained officers and one on maroon for officers attached to Airborne Forces.
Cheers
Sean

Thanks, Sean, for a super quick & helpful reply.
Badge came from a frame of miscellaneous bullion badges bought at auction several years ago.
