Default Original Official Insigne of the USS Princeton (LPH-5)

Each and every time I go on this forum in recent years, like I’m sure so many others, I cringe to learn which additional badges and cloth insignia in my collection are at the very least re-strikes, if not out-right fakes. And that’s beyond the ones I acquired as fillers, knowing full well I would probably never find an original, and if I did, could not afford it.

But in one case I can find complete solace and satisfaction. In addition the insigne has about as an impeccable pedigree and provenance as you could ever want. The only shortfall is that the insigne is United States Navy, and not British or Commonwealth in origin or use. Please check my blog page at; http://arnhemjim.blogspot.com/ for the insigne of the USS Princeton (LPH-5).
