H P C 's very very basic knowledge in military collecting I would expect anyone who is collecting 'badges ' to have sat down with a ref book first

Searches using 'HPC' or 'H P C' produce no results. A search using 'Helmet Plate Centre' produces 263 hits. However, not all are relevant.

Search terms for HPCs can be difficult.

They’re also difficult due to restrikes from original dies and die flaws being an indicator (or not) in some cases.

Often very nice badges which considering their age and craftsmanship is not always reflected in their value.

General rule is four staple loops to the rear, usually some of them are missing. Avoid those with two regular loops.

There are many threads on this forum by members asking for explanations of abbreviations.
I think it is demeaning to put 'insider only' messages on this forum, not to complain about it.
