Default Shoulder titles any ideas ?

Usually Googles answers obscure questions, even when badly framed. However this doesn't seem to be the case when it comes to shoulder titles. I have had these sitting around , defying identification , for quite a while. Can anyone help ?
Thanks
Mike

Question

Could CC OWEN'S be connected to Owens College Manchester ?

Quote:
Manchester University OTC. The Manchester and Salford University OTC traces its origins to the Owens College Company of the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, The Manchester Regiment in 1898.

[QUOTE=mike_vee;613686]Could CC OWEN'S be connected to Owens College Manchester ?

That was officially known as the "Manchester University Company, 2nd VB Manchester Regiment".

They were dressed as all 2VB Companies were and without a Company distinction and in any case shoulder titles were embriodered in full dress and WM in khaki and all 2/V/MANCHESTER.

So not them.

best wishes

Thanks , I just wondered if an Owens College Company/Cadets may have existed between the college being founded in 1851 and being the first affiliate college of the federal Victoria University in 1880.

I don't think it's IV LINCS, looks like I.V. LINCS, which made me consider "Imperial Volunteers" but I suppose not.
