Default Alex Rice

I just want to commend a fellow forum member Alex Rice.

I purchased a badge from Alex who lives in South Africa and to cut a long story short the envelope arrived empty and open. I contacted Alex and he immediately gave me a full refund without any quibbles.

I obviously would have preferred the badge rather than the money as it was a particular nice 18th Hussar one, but poor Alex is out of pocket and I am guessing the fault lies completely in the postal system.

So Alex, thank you and I hope Lady Luck brings you some fortune.

I cannot speak highly enough of Alex. A very generous and kind person plus an absolute gentleman in all my dealings and interactions with him on and off the forum.

Very sorry to hear about the situation, the badge is a sad loss but hopefully Alex does not end up out of pocket.

I think there is a lesson learnt Luke, I was only saying I had never lost a badge to you last week. Next time I will keep quiet!

Wow, thank you all for the kind words, very humbling. Honestly, I am an average joe who just likes collecting.
Thanks again,
Alex
