Default Unusual KLR foreign service helmet badge

Not seen anything quite like this before ( badge on the left hand helmet ), the badge on the right hand helmet is as you would expect.

I wonder if the l.h. Badge was made abroad ?

Fascinating pic thanks Peter. Locally made would fit as you say. I note the regular pattern collar badges on both, cheers Dean

The Hanovarian Horse was probably tired having stood up on its back legs all its working life.

Thanks Dean, Leigh and Simon,

It’s certainly a strange looking horse and doesn’t appear to have a “ King’s” scroll, I bet it was replaced at the first opportunity.

Peter.

Just as a matter of further interest, I have another picture which I have have had for longer than I can remember which seems to be taken in the same studio as the picture ( the subject of this thread ) which I have only been aware of for a few days.

A small world !

It is a most unusual badge. On first glance, and I stress glance, i thought it was Herts Yeomanry. His collars are exactly as you would expect.
I await more info
