Tony,
Superb display. I have lots of ‘orphan’ or single collar badges some of which could be FSC badges.
Is there a listing or reference anywhere that would help identify which were worn on the FSC?

Tim

Tim

If you go to my Victorian Cap badge album it records what was worn for the Regular Regiments. There were a few with bespoke FSC (Hants, DCLI, West Yorks, RIR, RB and a few more) but most used their collars.

I would expect the VB to have followed suit but a few months or years behind the Regulars. Some did not wear badges on their FSC at the start of their use.

The cavalry I suspect wore none or collars but it is not an area I have looked into.

Alan

Default 7th Hussars

Alan ,

Here’s my 7th Hussars FSC badge to the 7th , couldn’t believe I managed to pick this example up on E-Bay . The seller didn’t realise the scarcity of this badge

Regards

Tony C

Default 4th Border Cumberland and Westmorland Regiment.

Wonder if anyone could confirm if this, 4th Border Cumberland and Westmorland Regiment, collar badge may have been worn in the FSC?
Thanks for any help Tony.
