Default Glider Pilot Regiment shoulder titles

Recently purchased this embroidered GPR shoulder title and would appreciate expert opinions on whether it is genuine...

My grandfather served with the regiment during the war. I already have a few printed versions, which were given to me by veterans who served with him. I have been a bit hesitant to purchase such items, due to the proliferation of fake/repro items on the market. Any insights appreciated!

I was also given this one a few years ago by a serving member of the Army Air Corps, who picked it up somewhere, but suspect it to be fake. It has a tangle of threads on the reverse (will try to scan in later)...

The first one is a genuine title, glue back pattern it is called. The second one you show is a recent replica.

Much appreciated - I am glad that I did not pay anything for the second one!
