Curved Gaunt Makers Mark?????
I've never seen a curved "Gaunt London" makers mark like this on a slider before? More common on the rear of OSD Badges?

Just had me looking through my badge cabinet over that one. I have two RHR K/C badges, one in white metal, ORs no mark and a silvered officers type with JR Gaunt London, without any full stops, in tiny letters in a militarily straight line. I did sell a lugged blackened RHR marked JR Gaunt but this was on a small cartouche to the rear.

there's a F&F Yeo. one but with the "& Son" bit on the gaunt page. 3rd down on the left
http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/makers_marks/gaunt.htm and a few of the officer curved marks. interesting that the "Gaunt late Jennens" mark is partly curved - wonder if they all date from around the same time ?
