RCN ID tags

Can one of the navy aficionados wrap an approximate date around these ID tags? I'm assuming modern to contemporary, but I have no idea how contemporary. Also, any interest in someone giving these a home for the cost of postage? They are in a lot of misc. stuff which is on its way to me, and not my sort of thing.

They are 1950-60's period, mine were exactly like this example.
