Hello Gentlemen,

I recently acquired these two items, and was wondering what type of headgear the badge with the backing was intended to be mounted on, and how was the cane constructed? Or, is it a cane head at all?

Thank You

Wes Doyel

It's certainly a cane head.

Different regts used different canes - black wood or bamboo was common. being in the Far East either would be an option for the HKVDC.
