Default Endeavour

I was watching Endeavour the other night and the theme focused around a puppeteer and his murdered colleague.
They had both served in the REME in the war and, as 'sappers' had thrown bridges across rivers everywhere...

not as bad as the episode where the killer runs into a live minefield on a UK military camp - quite ridiculous.
