Hi Alan,
Can you post where your information comes from that the (RMA) flaming bomb on a globe and laurel (1922/23) was also used by RME please. Or give the details of the publication. Always willing to learn but I haven’t heard that one before. Or have I the wrong end of the stick.
Regards
Irv
Ps pictures would be great if you have them

Always strikes me how folk can ignore serious genuine questions on here yet often have time for pedantic or uber trivial I choose to believe all our RM experts are on holiday

It might help your research themes if you could obtain a copy of 'Personal Distinctions - 350 Years of Royal Marines Uniforms and Insignia' by John Rawlinson ... Royal Marines Historical Society Special Publication 41 ... ISBN 978-1-908123-09-1. 316 pages.

Ritchie.

No, other than that Bosleys sold a RME OSD two part badge a while back - seperate grenade bearing "RME" on the ball worn above the globe and laurel.

Some badges listed at auction, apparently as RME:

Looks good. Love the coloured stripes. Well done, I think it’s going to look great.
