"A rose by any other name...."
I bought this WM rose this morning at a car boot sale. It measures 22mm across.
Looking through "Churchill" there are several possibilities. Kings Liverpool Regiment (fig 240). 4th West York Militia (fig 468). Too big? East York Militia (fig 491). Just too big? East Lancashire Reg (fig 850) Gilt & just too big? 6th East York Militia (fig 930) "Just right" (this thread is beginning to sound like Goldilocks). But dare I jump to a conclusion when it could just as easily be Yeomanry, Police or something else? |

Could be Lancashire Hussars ( Lichfield "The Territorial Artillery " fig 169 ) white metal rose worn 1921-41 but no size given.
