Default ID Shoulder Titles 'Yorkshire' & 'Border Guard'

Looking for a positive ID on 2 shoulder titles. In the 1st pic, the top 'YORKSHIRE' title. Obviously different font and style from the standard Yorkshire Regiment title (middle) but very similar font and style to the 'Green Howards' title (bottom). It's a modern badge in new metal with lugs. After becoming 2nd Bn Yorkshire Regiment in 2006, did the Green Howards have their own ST? Or is it a ST they used before then? Or something else entirely?

The other 'Border Guard' title is chrome with 'D' lugs. I know the subject has been raised before; https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...t=border+guard
but there was no positive ID. Anybody ID'd it since? Will almost certainly be moving it on unless it has a Gibraltar connection. Any help much appreciated, Mike

The top title is that of the Yorkshire Volunteers, a Territorial Army unit that existed from 1968 until 1993, the second title is that of The Yorkshire Regiment, formed in 2007 and still in existence today

For the border guard badge I'd suggest Ghana.

Dave.

That's brilliant Dave, and it seems, bang on. Almost immediately this came up (2nd board, top right), so I can put that one to bed at last! I will in that case be moving it on if it's of any interest to anyone. All the best, Mike

Many thanks Paul for that precise ID. A keeper for me then. All the best, Mike
