Scroll-less Notts & Derby.
Beds & Herts I’d say.

Captain Mainwaring: "You there, Private Extra, what is that badge you are wearing"?

Private Extra: Well Guv'nor, I was in the 'ome Guard in 'Ackney and me ole man give me 'is old cap badge from when 'e was shot at and shit on by those Turkish geezers at Gallipoli and later took an 'ammering from the Krauts in France or somewhere.

Then when it got a bit dodgy around 'ackney, me missus said, come on Alf, lets' go darn to the seaside and you can do yer guardin bit there.

So we did and 'ere I am wiv me ole man's badge and if yer don't like it captain, you can lump it, coz this badge saw proper action.

Regards.

Private Alf Eastender.

Looks to be an RWK on the other guy. I think it is probably a Beds & Herts badge too. Is that front one an older Notts and Derby or some earlier version of a Bedford? It is too big for a collar.

A Home Guard headstone a photo of which appeared on Facebook had the wrong cap badge on it.
A lady who is a member of my KLR Facebook group and a volunteer with the CWGC reported it to her manager and it appears other Home Guard headstones might also have the wrong cap badges on them so the BBC are not the only organisation to make mistakes.

The QVC collars were bigger.
