Default Unidentified J Cropmton and Sons Officers Cap
Hi all,

I recently came across an Australian issued J Compton and Sons & Webb Ltd London staff officer cap. It has gold Australian Military Forces buttons on the side and the construction appears to be some sort of wicker. The unit or corps badge has been removed. Can anyone advise of the period or origins of this type of hat? Attached pics.

Need to see the side buttons but from the front it could be Royal Marines officers cap.
