Default Passchendaele 100 - The Kiwis

I only recently came across this item, which dates back to the 100th anniversary of the 3rd Battle of Ypres.

There is some interesting footage of Maoris doing the Haka at the Menin Gate. Also of Maoris in a canoe.

I found it fascinating anyway.

Jean-Paul

Good evening everyone,
It is a beautiful evocation of the battles of the New Zealand soldiers and also Maori.
Passchendaele was terrible for everyone.

The Maori have left other memories here in Arras: trenches, mine galleries, tunnels.
Thank you for sharing.

Jean Paul
