Default A question on current SAS cloth wings

Quite a number of dealers have current SAS cloth wings.
My question is how does one know if these wings are actual issue items or are
copies/reproductions? Are there any distinguishing features on the actual wings or the stitching to determine if it’s genuine issue?

Perhaps another question I should ask is if genuine wings are so readily available; why would anyone produce copies/reproductions?
