Default Pagri flash?- 23 London Regt?

The p[pictured piece of ribbon has been suggested is a pagri flash worn by 23 London Regt.

Please can anyone confirm or refute this please?

Stephen.

What size is the ribbon? It looks a little like the ribbon for the Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society's General Medal.

I don't think it could be for the 23rd London. The only time that I am aware of that this regiment would have worn the FS helmet was when the 2nd Bn was in in the middle east for a while during ww1. These rayon or silk grosgrain material flashes were not typical for that period. As asked, what is the size? It looks a bit small to be a Pagri flash.

Default Pagri flash

The patch measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/4". This sound too big for a medal ribbon.

Too big for a medal ribbon certainly. Could it be a Commonwealth flash?
