AAC wings help please

Hi folks,

Two wings, two different questions.

First the KC pattern ......I'm assuming this is a repro?

Secondly the QC wings are larger than normal with very deep blue wings, I wondered if these had anything to do with the Blue Eagles display team or are they just duff?

Personally I am not keen on either of them. just look totally Duff to me.

I am far from a 'wing expert' but:
Personally, if I owned those wings I would not display them in a main collection - any doubts and I would always be looking at them with a 'niggle' and therefore they would go in the queries/doubtful box.

In my opinion, the KC example is spurious, my thoughts would be to get a refund, the bullion example is perhaps a modern variation by a particular manufacturer, notwithstanding, I don't think I have actually seen it in wear.

Thanks for all the replies and opinions, it's this sort of feed back that makes it worthwhile being on here, I only ask for your opinions on badges that I already have doubts about.....but don't know why, hence referring to a higher knowledge lol
