Default GPR and Para Badges

Hi Simon,
As I can already see, many of the learned members have already provided guidance r.e. the Glider Pilot Regiment. Had to undertake a quick review (in this arena that can be considered analogous to “quicksand”). Obviously the Parachute Regiment badge, with lugs vice slider, is correct for World War II vintage. Regarding the Glider Pilot Regiment badge, as fogasse1940 subtle alludes to is the fact that the badge you have was not adopted until 1950. As stated up until that time the regiment had worn the Army Air Corps badge, i.e. AAC with Eagle facing left.
Best regards in this New Year,
Jim
