Default Rhodesian Recce Group.

Just picked this nice little lot up. Seems to be all to the same chap. Appears he was a POW at some point (Stalag VII/A). Some of the items have slight fire damage which is a first for me with insignia.

Regards,

Des

Very nice! A lot of units serving in N Africa and Italy seem to have had replacement officers from Rhodesia and South Africa, similar to the CanLoan scheme in NWE I think

Thanks for the replies. Anyone know what the white triangle might signify?

It's 1st Division, originally taken as the tip of the spear of 1st Corps. Nice group.
