Help to Identify Lapel Badge
Hi All,
I have found this Lapel badge in my grandad’s things and have been trying to find out what it is or where it has come from but with no luck so far. The badge is a lapel / button hole badge which has a crown and what looks like two curved swords. On the back it says H W Miller LTD B’HAM 18. I know he enlisted for the territorial art under the National Service Act in Caterham in 1945 for the Coldstream Guards. He was based in Bad Godesburg until 1947 when they then returned to Caterham. I understand he then went to London and it was here he worked as a regimental cobbler until he was stuck off in 1948. I’m not sure if it even has anything to do with him being in the Coldstream Guards. Any help and information anyone could provide would be massively appreciated! Thank you! |

DofE award scheme started in the 1950s so may not relate to your grandfather. Regards, Paul.
