If you are talking about the Wm Mills badge, it is very similar to the other badges such as the British Aluminium Co. It may have a number but I'd have to check. The "Guvmint" badge is, as befits the front, completely plain. How on earth did they get away with wearing this stuff? |

1915 OWS variant
Here's a variation on the badge that usually has a company name in that separate, applied tablet.
Again, what firm was employing them and what were they doing? I guess that things tightened up a tad after 1916 with conscription. |

Mystery OWS badge?
Can anyone provide any info on this badge that I believe to be of WW1 vintage. About the size of a standard 1914 Admiralty badge.
The key would appear to be the red enamel "T" and the unicorn. Thoughts? |
