Having mused much on the silver Lonsdales and pestered many members with one for pics I can say that I like yours.

The Hallmarks looks crisp and clear, the lettering on the scroll looks sharp and square ended without the flaws, blobs or bubbles. There is more texture and detail to the griffins body seen than on many of the cast copies. All good signs.

My disclaimer is I’d like to see it in the flesh as I found photo results varied so much for me depending on angles and lighting. I suspect this was due to the shine of the silver affecting my iPhone’s camera.

Sadly as I’m sure you know his tail tip is missing and it has been broached.

Thank you Luke I agree, I don't like to comment unless something is inhand the detail does to good to be a copy but is the loop and blade the normal fixing?

Yes quite normal. Also sometimes found on two loops behind the top scrolls but more commonly the tongue and loop arrangement.
