Unhappy Today's flea market buys, genuine?

I hope these are ok, as the rest of the box seemed all genuine. Comments either way appreciated.
ASC with a small white metal M. Militia?
Royal Devon Yeomanry Artillery
Cheers
John

RDY not good I'm afraid, the sprawled lion on the crown, and a drill attempt at voiding.

How is the 'M' applied? I believe they should be pinned, not soldered.
Cheers,
Alex

The M is pinned as far as I can see, there is a round hole behind it.
Can see now that the Devons has been drilled, mad that I missed that before I handed over my cash.
Thanks both,
John

To the best of my knowledge there was never any ASC Militia. Another skanky attempt at a con.

It is a genuine ASC badge but just like with the RE ones it's possible that the M has been added. The proliferation of dud RE GVI Militia badges about does rather suggest they are being churned out by adding M's to genuine badges.
