Default SAS Metal Badges.

Here are some recent finds from a militaria show here in the states. The grouping while put together as collection was more of an accumulation of SAS "hopefully" related items. Some good and some maybe not so. I have pulled out a handful of the items for opinions and possibly dates of use.

The large Artists badge is Firmin and Plated marked on the back. It may be from and earlier period prior to say WW2. A sand cast badge and the others. all comments and information are always appreciated.

There was also some cloth pieces that will be posted in this thread.Best Jack.

The sand cast badge looks remarkably like a post-War Belgian SAS Para-Commando badge.

There was a war time sand cast badge but it this one is not the same design as the ones I have seen.

I like the Artists badges, the plated Firmin is very attractive.

Yes, as you say, it does bear a resemblance to the Belgian design
