Could I have opinions on the authenticity of this SAS badge? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

Default SAS officer's beret badge

hi Bill,

That is an original bullion SAS officer's beret badge, eighties or nineties.

From the picture it would appear to be a bit the worse for wear. There is considerable mothing on
the badge.

I would not accept it in my collection, unless there was good provenance to a veteran.

best regards,

Johan

Thanks John. It was posted and an opinion asked, but no one seemed ready to make a statement. It is a bit out of my area so I posted the image here for an opinion. I think the fellow picked it up for less than $5 at a Value Village type shop.

Default SAS badge

This badge is about 1/4 " thick, 2" from top to tip and 1 1/4" wide. Anyone interested can email me and I can send photo of the reverse. Thanks, Jonathan Straw
