Warwickshire but what?
This chap looks like Imperial Yeomanry with a cavalry style bandolier and cocks plume in slouch hat. Unfortunately his hat badge and shoulder titles are unclear but his collar badges look like Royal Warwickshire Regiment and are not Warwickshire Yeomanry badges, I don’t think he’s Mounted Infantry, can anyone explain the apparent discrepancy please, with thanks in anticipation? PS I hope I have placed this in the right section, can anyone suggest exactly what unit this is?

I think that he is in a RWR Mounted Infantry Comapny, Boer War period.
best wishes

Warwickshire but what
Thanks Simon. I don’t normally associate cocks plumes with mounted infantry, usually Imp. Yeomanry companies but can’t think of anything else that fits with those collar badges as you say
