Default Newport Borough Police, Isle of Wight, collar badge

Hello Forum members,
I would like to share this attractive collar badge, recently acquired because I liked the design.
Subsequent research on the Forum and the internet revealed it to be an early and rare item. Images show before and after a light cleaning.
John

The complete "set". Perhaps not as rare as you think!

Dave.

Hello Dave,
Thanks for showing your set again. I did find it in my research. I note that the collar badge has sold for £70.
Regards, John

The last cap badge I found that had sold was over a hundred pounds.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for sharing your cap badge again. A hat badge sold for £215 and a large Helmet Plate sold for £1,200.
Cheers, John
